Aydın is a city with the population of 180.000 people and it is located at the west part of Turkey. It is 40 km away from the Aegean Sea. 100 km away from the famous city İzmir.
Our school has approximately 800 students from the 9th grade to 12th grade (aged 14-18) and has 56 staff.
What we also find important is to present some of our strong sides. In a school like Aydın, it is easier to keep the overview of the students and the situation of the school. We have a great cooperation among our staff as well as towards the students. We have a student council, which has been elected by the students of all the school and helps the principal and vice principals to take decisions about our school and our students future.Although Aydın is very near to big cities,it is very small and students have diffuculty in reaching social facilities.So this project will be useful for them to widen their world sight.
